Kaohsiung Monomer Company (KMC) was founded in 1976, and is now a joint venture between the Mitsubishi Chemical Group and China Petrochemical Development Corporation. When it was originally established, its foreign shareholder was the British company ICI Group. The main product of KMC is methyl methacrylate (MMA). We have long been Taiwan's largest professional manufacturer of acrylic raw materials and have successfully driven the development of Taiwan's acrylic industry for many years. In 2001, KMC was awarded the "Elite Award for Sustainable Development" by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and has obtained certifications for ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system. Our operational performance has achieved new heights year after year. KMC places special emphasis on industrial safety, environmental protection, and health, and strives for strict implementation of operations, while maintaining professional management and financial soundness as a whole enterprise. KMC emphasizes a humanistic management approach that enables employees and the company to grow and create value together, and promotes harmony between labor and management.
